Dear friends of the Défi,

Welcome to the great gathering of the 11th edition of the Défi Cyclo-myélome. The event to benefit multiple myeloma research will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Euro-Spa (455 Rang de l'Église S, Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, QC J0J 1Y0).

> Small Route (50 km)

> Long Route (80 km)

Hop on your bike to help raise awareness about multiple myeloma and raise funds to support research and help find a cure for this cancer. All in compliance with the sanitary measures in place.

Join us on this great movement and offer hope to everyone suffering from multiple myeloma or who will be diagnosed with the disease in the future.

WHY SUPPORT THE CAUSE

Dr. Richard LeBlanc, holder of the Université de Montréal Myeloma Canada Chair in Multiple Myeloma at Hôpital Maisonneuve Rosemont (HMR), and his team count on our support to advance research and improve the care of patients who suffer from this terrible cancer. The people living with multiple myeloma and their loved ones come from across Quebec and beyond to seek treatment at the HMR and cannot afford a break.

“In the current context, your support is more vital than ever,” says Dr. LeBlanc. “My team and I need your help to continue fighting this cancer. People living with multiple myeloma are very vulnerable. They need us more than ever. Thank you for showing solidarity with those who suffer from multiple myeloma!”

VIRTUAL CYCLIST OPTION

If you can't make it to the big gathering, make a difference by taking part in the #MonDéfiMyélomePerso challenge. To do this, choose the “virtual cyclist” option.

Take photos or videos of yourself cycling on behalf of the Défi Cyclo-myélome and share them with us on Facebook using the hashtag #MonDéfiMyélomePerso—make sure your post is public so we can share it too! Or, send us your photos by email at info@cyclomyelome.org.

On our behalf, on behalf of Dr. LeBlanc’s team as well as the many patients and their families who benefit concretely from your commitment, thank you for supporting us.

Together, let’s continue to be a source of hope and healing!
